Network Rail

Network Rail is at the heart of revitalizing Britain's railway. From Crossrail - Europe's largest civil engineering project - to investment in world-class stations and major programmes of electrification, they are involved in some of the most ambitious and diverse ventures that the UK has ever seen.

Britain's railway has been growing for 150 years, without significant renewal but it is required to carry more freight and passengers than ever before. It is anticipated that the network will see growth up to 400 million more passenger journeys by 2020. Investment and modernisation are absolutely essential.

PFM Footfall Intelligence has been chosen to supply, maintain and provide web based reporting for a digital footfall system that will track changes in footfall numbers as a result of the investment being made in the UK railway infrastructure. The system will also provide footfall data on visits to all retail stores located at each of the 17 Network Rail managed stations.

Investment in the PFM footfall solution is generating profits which are reinvested back into the network.
